As part of this growth, they are seeking to appoint a Global Supply Chain Leader (Cosmetics & Personal Care) to lead and transform the division’s end-to-end supply chain. This role will be responsible for building and executing a global strategy that connects commercial requirements with operational delivery across multiple geographies. The successful individual will drive performance, strengthen customer partnerships, and ensure the business is positioned for long-term growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the global supply chain strategy for the Pharma & Personal Care division.
- Partner with commercial leadership to align supply chain objectives with business goals.
- Build strong relationships with customer supply chain leaders to anticipate trends and expectations.
- Lead performance delivery across Safety, Quality, Service and Cost, ensuring operational excellence.
- Drive alignment and accountability across global manufacturing sites, influencing plant-level teams within a matrix structure.
- Oversee initiatives in inventory optimisation, service improvement, cost efficiency, and supplier management.
- Establish and implement advanced digital tools and analytics to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders in Logistics, Quality, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Commercial to ensure agility and responsiveness.
- Develop and mentor future leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Candidate profile:
- Degree educated in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive global supply chain leadership, ideally within Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end supply chain disciplines, including planning, procurement, logistics, and fulfilment.
- Strong knowledge of S&OP, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and supply chain analytics.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or similar regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of driving transformation and delivering measurable performance improvements.
- Experience leading through influence in a global matrix organisation.
- A customer-focused, results-driven leader with strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
